Build, Equipment and Accessory Options

Azalai - standard package

The standard version of the Azalai includes a whole range of accessories to allow maximum comfort. A wide range of optional features is available – each Azalai conversion is built to the chosen specification of the purchaser.

All of the following come with the Azalai as standard:

• Outer Body – a ‘monoblock’ shell constructed from an advanced composite polyester resin reinforced with fibreglass. The shell includes high density 15mm polyurethane for insulation and finished with a Gel coat in white.

• Raising roof maximises headroom but is very light to operate thanks to a pair of heavy duty gas struts
• The sides of the raising roof are made from insulated and UV blocking fabric, with an air vent/window on each side with integral insect gauze
• 2 Sliding windows with thermal blinds and integral insect gauze
• Rear door fitted with a 3 point lock for security
• Spare wheel compartment, specially designed and secure hatch that can only be unlocked from inside the Azalai
• Furniture is finished in white polyester – easy to wipe down and keep clean
• The floor in finished in textured beige polyester, fully sealed with drainage to aid cleaning
• Kitchen includes a sink with pumped cold water tap, stainless steel hob; 2 gas burners with safety cut out, supplied by a 2.75kg camping gaz bottle
• 50 Litre, ultra-efficient compressor fridge with freezer compartment
• Living area has generous seating for 4 adults with a removable swivel table
• Ample storage throughout the Azalai; under and behind the bench seats, a separate wardrobe, a shelved bathroom cabinet, kitchen shelving for everyday items, separate kitchen cupboards and plenty of miscellaneous storage along both sides of the vehicle and in the over-cab area
• Water tank with electric gauge (capacity depends on base vehicle)
• 30 Litre waste water tank
• Electric pump for sink and shower
• Shower head (can be used either inside or outside the vehicle)
• Main double bed measures 150cm x 200cm with fitted mattress
• Numerous sleeping options depending on number (and height) of passengers
• Flush toilet with removable waste cassette and SOG extractor fan
• Internal lighting including 3 strip LED lamps
• Auxiliary leisure battery
• Fitted with PC200 to monitor all the electrics
• External storage for tools, off-road and recovery equipment
• External roof rack - (Defender 130 only)
